I should be studying.

I have a Bio test tomorrow, but I am over it. Sorry, Dr. Phelps. Instead, I am just sitting in the middle of my floor.

Actually, I just moved to my couch. My back is hurting.

All I can think about is how I am moving out in less than two weeks. Yikes. Where did this semester go?

Now, you may expect me to talk about memories, or how much I will miss my friends. But I am not going to. I am saving the cry fest for graduation, thank you very much. Obviously I will miss living with my best friends in the whole wide world. Duh. But right now I am thinking about how much I am going to miss this room.

The thing I love about decorating is how you can create a room that reflects who you are and what you care about. In high school, I designed a room to reflect a beachy-laid back vibe. It was my first big decorating thing and I loved it. My style has transitioned since being in college, and I think this bedroom reflects that style most accurately.

It’s got fresh colors. Photos of Italy, Paris, and Vienna.  Black-and-white photos from the 40s. An old-fashioned fan. Good lighting. Silhouettes. Books. And don’t forget the cheetah print.

I just want to transport this room as is back to my house.  Can someone arrange this for me?

  1. Umm…that would be your father. It’s his job to pack things up and move them. I’m sure he would LOVE to do that for you.
