Hope everyone is having an awesome holiday. I’m working on a super fun (or perhaps slightly boring) video that chronicled my celebration last night, but for now I will just show you a few pictures of the evening.
I watched the Idabel fireworks with my mom’s friend Melody, her son, and our family friends Brad, Erin, Abby and Megan.
And I was really pleased with the fireworks. They were nothing in comparison to last year’s National Mall experience (which I didn’t blog about, awesome), but they were still pretty impressive. I am a little better with my camera now, so I got some decent still photos of the fiasco.
Hope y’all take some time today to remember what the 4th of July means to you! And a big thanks to all of those who have served and will serve our country in the military–past, present and future.
